TIDAL's "Bend No Knees" EP embraces the styles of modern funeral doom, death industrial, and blackened sludge. Peck collaborates with Daniel Bratton (ex One 30 Edge and Horns of Moses) on this three song EP to bring forth some of the darkest, and heaviest tracks yet produced by TIDAL. Layers of depressive electronics cradle the low end bass drones, set against snail-paced industrial rhythms, akin to Author and Punisher and Godflesh. Bratton's malign, and tortured vocals provide a sinister narrative as Peck's bestial screams seemingly echo from beneath the rubble. This is the place where nightmares go to rest.
